The department of Economics conduct short-term course ‘Banking Examination Preparatory course’ for B.Com III. Students. The syllabus of this course has been designed by the faculty of the department. From June 2016 department has started ‘Certificate Course in Banking’. This course gives detail knowledge about banking transactions.
To create awareness about recent trends and developments in economics department organizes various conferences and workshops. As a part of this, department has organized National Conference on ‘Agricultural Problems in India’ on 13th February 2016. The department also arranges workshops on Interview Technique, Career Guidance, Personality Development and Management Skill. Department arranges industrial visit regularly. The department is willing to organize International conference in future.
